• Definition of this Contract

1.1 These terms govern all sales and supplies of lighting products and accessories by Raix Lighting Ltd.

1.2 References to “the supplier,” “our,” “us,” or “we” refer to Raix Lighting Ltd, located at:

1.3 “The customer” refers to any business or individual purchasing from us.

1.4 “The goods” include all lighting products and accessories we sell.

1.5 This contract acknowledges the customer’s right to cancel (refer to section 6.0).

1.6 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice regarding future sales.

• Terms of Sale

2.1 A contract for sale between Raix Lighting Ltd and the customer only exists once an order is received, accepted, and fully paid for.

2.2 Goods are as described and priced on our website at the time of order.

2.3 All offers are dependent on stock availability.

2.4 Dimension information on the website is approximate.

2.5 Installation must be done by qualified personnel. Incorrect installation voids any warranty.

• Delivery of Goods

3.1 Goods will be delivered to the specified address.

3.2 Upon delivery, any damages or shortages must be reported within 48 hours.

3.3 Claims for damages reported after 48 hours will be considered at management’s discretion.

3.4 We aim to deliver within the estimated time; however, uncontrollable circumstances may cause delays.

3.5 If the customer fails to accept delivery, additional costs may apply.

• Payment for Goods

4.1 All prices include VAT and delivery costs.

4.2 Full payment is required before delivery unless credit terms have been agreed.

4.3 Payment is due within 30 days from the invoice date.

4.4 Various payment methods are available through our website.

• Payment and Data Security

5.1 Transactions through our website are secured using Sagepay.

5.2 We are committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

• Cancellation and Returns Policy

6.1 Customers may only cancel within five working days of receiving the goods if they are made to order.

6.2 Returns must be notified in writing or via email.

6.3 Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.

6.4 Returned goods must be in original packaging and condition.

6.5 Customised products are non-returnable.

7.1 We reserve the right to cancel orders due to supply issues, with a full refund provided.

• Warranty

8.1 Goods come with a 12-month warranty, excluding lamps and bulbs.

• Installation / Fitting

9.1 The installation of non-portable lighting must be done by a qualified electrician in compliance with Part P of the building regulations.

• Trade Customers

10.1 Trade returns are subject to a minimum 25% handling charge.

• Limitation of Liability

11.1 We are not liable for additional costs beyond the price paid for the goods.
